Death is a certainty we often avoid thinking about, yet it’s a natural and inevitable part of caring for our animals.
In this process, I provide gentle support to you and your animal through this transition with compassion, presence, and respect.
Together, we explore what a “good death” might look like, while honoring your values and the needs of all the animals affected.
My approach is rooted in a deep respect for nature, helping this chapter be as gentle, dignified, and nurturing as possible.
Kindly note that I am not able to support emergencies or immediate passings, and a brief introductory call is required to establish intake.
My fee for animal end of life planning is by sliding scale donation only.

Sessions are done in person for most locations in the Seattle area.
I support animal rescues and other animal welfare services with death planning free of charge.

I'm based in Seattle and travel around Western Washington.
WHAT DOES A DEATH DOULA DO, EXACTLY?
Death Doula's or End of Life Doula's provide non-medical emotional and logistic support for people faced with their own death or the death of a loved one.
Most of the people I work with are grappling with decisions and logistics around their animal's final transition.
This will look different for everyone; there is no one protocol when it comes to the deeply personal and unique relationships each person has with the animal in their life.
WHAT KINDS OF ANIMALS DO YOU SUPPORT?
My specialization is companionate animal death; mainly domestic horses, dogs, and cats. I'm open to working with any species.
