Until we no longer have the luxury, death and dying are often the least considered parts of caring for animals. Yet death is the only thing that can be absolutely guaranteed.
In this process, we can explore what a good death might look like to you and your animal, how to choose where and when, and how best to support the remaining animals throughout the transition, including yourself.
Your personal beliefs and values will be honored - I do not impose any religion or spiritual education.
If you are thinking about the imminent death of an animal in your life and want to explore how it could be as beautiful and caring as possible under the circumstance you're given, then you came to the right place.
Death is an inevitability most of us would rather avoid even thinking about.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I'm based in Seattle and travel around Western Washington. In most cases, I support End of Life planning remotely.
Sessions are conducted via Zoom.
WHAT DOES A DEATH DOULA DO, EXACTLY?
Death Doula's or End of Life Doula's provide non-medical emotional and logistic support for people faced with their own death or the death of a loved one.
Most of the people I work with are grappling with decisions and logistics around their animal's final transition.
This will look different for everyone; there is no one protocol when it comes to the deeply personal and unique relationships each person has with the animal in their life.
WHAT KINDS OF ANIMALS DO YOU SUPPORT?
My specialization is companionate animal death; mainly domestic horses, dogs, and cats. I'm open to working with any species.
HOW CAN I BE SURE I WANT TO WORK WITH YOU?
Read my website to get a sense of what I do. If my services feel like a potential fit, fill out the contact form with as much information as you're comfortable sharing with me. If we need to connect over a brief consultation before committing, that's always ok.
