Animal End-of-Life Planning and Support

Managing their final transition is the final kindness we can give the animals we've shared a life with.

Still, we owe it to them to uphold the love and care we gave throughout their lives all the way through their final transition.

Every individual has unique beliefs and values about death that will set the paradigm for our work together. I do not impose any beliefs, religion, or spiritual education.

For many of us, saying goodbye is the hardest part of loving an animal.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

I'm based in Seattle and travel around Western Washington. In most cases, I support End of Life planning remotely.
Sessions are conducted via Zoom.

WHAT DOES A DEATH DOULA DO, EXACTLY?

Death Doula's or End of Life Doula's provide non-medical emotional and logistic support for people faced with their own death or the death of a loved one.

Most of the people I work with are grappling with decisions and logistics around their animal's final transition.

This will look different for everyone; there is no one protocol when it comes to the deeply personal and unique relationships each person has with the animal in their life.

WHAT KINDS OF ANIMALS DO YOU SUPPORT?

My specialization is companionate animal death; mainly domestic horses, dogs, and cats. I'm open to working with any species.

HOW CAN I BE SURE I WANT TO WORK WITH YOU?

Read my website to get a sense of what I do. If my services feel like a potential fit, fill out the contact form with as much information as you're comfortable sharing with me. If we need to connect over a brief consultation before committing, that's always ok.
