Animal End of Life Planning & Support

Equine Massage

services

 Hi, I’m Amelia Savage.

I created Inner Savage to deliver compassionate, pragmatic equine massage therapy and animal end-of-life planning.

Inner Savage reflects the belief that animals, including people, carry an innate, instinctive intelligence rooted in the body and nervous system, where wellness emerges through listening, respecting, and working with nature rather than fighting against it.

"Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center is deeply grateful for the exceptional care and commitment that Amelia has brought to our herd.

As an equine bodyworker, she has generously donated her time, skill, and expertise to support the physical and emotional well‑being of more than 30 horses—each of whom carries the important therapeutic work of serving our clients.

Amelia’s dedication to the horses shines through in every session. She approaches each member of our herd with patience, professionalism, and a genuine understanding of their individual needs. Thanks to her consistent care, we’ve seen improvements in mobility, comfort, behavior regulation, and overall wellness across the barn.

Beyond the physical benefits, Amelia has helped our horses feel more grounded, relaxed, and emotionally balanced—an invaluable gift for horses with such emotionally demanding roles. Her presence has become a trusted part of their routine and a meaningful support for our entire program.

We are incredibly lucky to have Amelia as part of the Little Bit community. Her compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment have made a lasting positive impact on our horses and the work we do every day."

Her kindness not only comforts the humans involved but also provides solace to any equine companions facing loss. With a heart as vast as her dedication, we are truly grateful for all that Amelia shares with our community.”

“Amelia extends her support to families across Washington State during the challenging decision of bidding farewell to their beloved horses.

“In their innocence and wisdom, in their connection to the earth and its most ancient rhythms, animals show us a way back to a home they have never left.”
